Lumina car shampoo with coating for hand washing at home

Lumina is a low-foam car shampoo made for painted surfaces. It lifts road film, dust and insects from the bodywork and leaves a thin silane layer that helps water run off. It does not leave a mirror effect, just a clean surface. The formula is water-based and 99% natural and contains no PFC, silicone or wax.

How to wash your car with Lumina

Rinse the car with water to remove loose sand.
Mix 2 capfuls of Lumina (2 x 10 ml) per litre of water.
Wash from the roof down with a soft car wash mitt. On heavier dirt, leave the solution on for a while before you wipe.
Rinse with clean water and dry with a microfiber drying towel to avoid water spots.

We recommend washing with Lumina every 4 to 6 weeks, and more often in winter when road salt builds up. Wash in the shade so the solution does not dry on hot paint. Our guide to washing your car at home covers the whole routine.

Lumina and Liquid Skin

Wash with Lumina before you apply Liquid Skin silane coating, and keep using it afterwards. Lumina is safe on the coating, tops it up with each wash and helps the protection last longer.
