Sublimo melamine sponge that erases marks with water
The Sublimo melamine sponge is made of light, flexible melamine foam. Its fine, firm structure works like a very fine sandpaper, so when you dampen it with water it rubs off marks that a regular sponge and detergent leave behind. That is why people call it a magic sponge.
What the melamine sponge removes
Sublimo removes permanent-marker ink, crayon marks, coffee and tea stains, oil, grease and scuffs from shoes or trolley wheels. Use it on compatible, durable tiles, plastic, linoleum and stainless steel. Test a hidden area first because the finish may be softer than the material underneath. Avoid wood finishes, polished marble, car paint and clear coat.
You only need water, so there is no detergent residue to wipe off afterwards. The foam wears down as it works, like an eraser, and you can cut a sponge into smaller pieces for corners and small marks.
For even more intensive cleaning tasks or if you’re looking for a longer-lasting option, check out our Duragom melamine sponge, which offers enhanced durability for frequent use.
How to use Sublimo
Using the Sublimo magic sponge is simple: slightly moisten the sponge with water and gently rub the stained area. For delicate surfaces, always test on an inconspicuous area first. Our melamine sponge guide lists the surfaces to avoid. For floors, skirting boards and bathtubs, the melamine brush with a handle saves you bending down.
Sublimo also cleans compatible pool tiles and plastic surfaces on boats and caravans. In car interiors, use it only on durable, uncoated plastic after testing a hidden area. Avoid glossy trim and painted or lacquered surfaces.
