Bathroom cleaning kit that removes limescale and helps keep it away
Limescale comes back because every shower leaves a thin film of hard water on glass, taps and tiles. The Bathroom Cleaning Kit covers both sides of the problem. First you remove the buildup, then you protect the clean surface and wipe it dry after showers, so new deposits have less to hold on to.
First, remove the limescale
EcoDescaler dissolves limescale on ceramics, glass, chrome, aluminium and other hard surfaces in the bathroom, kitchen and sauna. Its formula contains 0.4% formic acid and carries no hazard warning labels. As it cleans, it leaves a thin nano coating that helps slow down new buildup. For thick deposits around taps and drains, see our guide to limescale removal and prevention.
Then protect the clean surface
EcoCare is a breathable nano coating for bathroom surfaces. On the cleaned, dry surface it makes it harder for dirt and limescale to stick, and it also protects porous tile grout without sealing it shut. It suits glossy, matte, non-slip, rough, natural and plastic surfaces.
Sponges and squeegee for everyday wiping
The DUO microfiber sponges have a soft microfiber side for wiping and a scrubber side for stubborn spots on compatible glass and ceramic surfaces. Test a hidden area first. The 30 cm silicone squeegee removes water from shower glass and tiles. Removing water after each shower helps reduce new mineral deposits.
What’s in the kit
- EcoDescaler limescale remover with nano coating, 500 ml
- EcoCare interior and sanitary protector, 500 ml
- 2 DUO microfiber scrubbing sponges, 13 x 9 cm
- Flexi Blade silicone squeegee, 30 cm
Sponge colours may vary. Every item is also sold separately.
How to use
- Spray EcoDescaler on the limescale, leave it for the time stated on the label and wipe with the microfiber side of a DUO sponge. Use the scrubber side on thicker deposits only where the surface is compatible.
- Rinse with clean water and let the surface dry.
- Spray EcoCare evenly on the clean, dry surface and spread it with a clean, dry DUO sponge.
- After each shower, pull the squeegee over the glass and tiles from top to bottom.
Test both products on a small, hidden area first. Do not use acidic descaler on marble, limestone or other acid-sensitive surfaces.
