Microfiber cloth for glasses, screens and camera lenses
The GoGoNano glasses cleaning cloth measures 17 x 17 cm and is made of extra-thick, tightly woven microfiber with a soft suede feel. The fine fibres hold on to skin oil and dust, so you can wipe lenses and screens clean without a cleaning spray.
How to clean your glasses with the cloth
- If the lenses are dusty or sandy, rinse them under lukewarm water first so grit does not drag across the surface.
- Hold the frame by the bridge and wipe each lens with gentle circular movements.
- For dried-on marks, breathe on the lens or dampen a corner of the cloth with water, then polish dry with a clean part of the cloth.
The GoGoNano glasses cloth also works on sunglasses, phone and tablet screens, computer monitors, camera lenses, watches, jewellery and small mirrors. If your glasses fog up in winter or under a face mask, our anti-fog cloth for glasses is the one to use, and the guide on how to stop glasses fogging up explains why it happens.
Washing the glasses cloth
A greasy cloth leaves streaks, so wash it when it no longer polishes clean. Machine wash at 40–60 °C with a mild detergent, without bleach or fabric softener, which coats the fibres. Wash it with other microfiber or synthetic items rather than cotton, which sheds lint. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry, and do not iron. Our guide to washing microfiber cloths has more tips, and our microfiber cloth guide explains which cloth suits which surface.
